Wash Care Guide
Your Branza garments are made to look sharp and work hard. A little care goes a long way in keeping your prints and embroidery looking fresh, crisp and professional for as long as possible.
Our 3 Golden Rules
Wash at 30°C
Lower temperatures help protect colours, fabrics and decoration while still giving your garments a proper clean.
Never iron directly on the design
Turn garments inside out and use a low heat setting to avoid damaging prints or flattening embroidery.
Wash with similar garments
Group similar colours and fabrics together to help reduce colour transfer and unnecessary friction.

Before You Wash
- Fasten zips and undo buttons
- Check pockets for sharp or loose items
- Turn the garment inside out
- Wash with similar colours and similar textured garments where possible
- We recommend washing before first wear for best results
These small steps help protect both the garment fabric and the customisation.
Print Care
Printed garments will last best when washed gently and kept away from high heat.
- Always wash printed garments inside out
- Never iron directly over the print
- Use the lowest heat setting if ironing the reverse side
- Do not tumble dry, as excess heat can affect print finish and garment shape
Some printed designs may show light creasing after folding or packing. This can usually be smoothed out by ironing on the reverse side at a low temperature.
Embroidery Care
Embroidery is highly durable and is often the best choice for garments that need to work hard, be washed more often or stand up to heavier wear.
- Embroidery generally handles friction and repeated washing better than print
- Wash inside out where possible to reduce surface wear
- Do not iron directly onto embroidery
- Iron on the reverse side using a low heat setting to avoid flattening the stitching
- Do not pull any loose thread ends — trim carefully if needed
Light hoop or ring marks can sometimes appear from the embroidery process. These are normal and will usually wash out after the first cycle.
If you regularly need to wash garments at higher temperatures or need hardwearing branded clothing, embroidery is usually the more durable option.

What to Avoid
- Do not overload the washing machine, as overcrowding increases friction
- Do not bleach, as bleach can weaken fibres and affect colour and print quality
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not dry clean, as strong chemicals may damage print finishes
- Do not leave garments in a wet environment or folded when damp
